The Gables Cattery in Batley
The Gables Cattery in Batley, West Yorkshire is a well-established, family-run business of high standards, running for nearly 30 years.
Owned, built and designed by animal lover Andrew Robinson in 1993, his daughter Shauna has been managing the cattery since 2014. Situated in a peaceful, out of the way location in the Soothill area of Batley your cats will get to enjoy the serene garden views as well as glimpses of our pet chickens and pygmy goats. We cater purely for cats only so there is no disruptive noise from a nearby kennels.
What We Do
Each pen incorporates a snug, heated indoor area for eating and sleeping quarters, leading onto a spacious outdoor area.
We understand the importance of maintaining your cat’s regular diet, feel free to bring their own special diets.
We will be happy to oblige with any medication your cats are receiving, tablets or creams can be given at no extra cost.

About Us
Why You’ll Love Us
We provide a caring and comfortable environment with individual chalets for all visiting cats, making sure they enjoy the holiday just as much as you do.
Their health, hygiene and contentment are our number one priority. We do not allow any dogs at the cattery. We are veterinary and local authority approved and we welcome inspection at any time.
All cats are secure under lock and key and the property is guarded by an electric gate which is closed outside of opening hours.

Been here a couple of times with my cat and I won’t go anywhere else. The service is amazing! My kitten is always looked after really well. Shauna is amazing and can’t do enough for you. Nothing is a problem. I had to leave my cat an extra night and it was no issue at all. Highly recommended. Thankyou so much for taking such good care of my kitten!
